Chris Hooper - Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer
In addition to serving as COO and CFO of InterPerc Technologies, Chris is a General Partner of MedTech South and Wholeberg Ventures, respectively, a biomedical venture accelerator and venture capital firm focused in the biomedical field. He is also a Principal of Medical Device Marketing, a privately held professional service consulting and strategic execution company, specializing in developing commercialization strategies for start-up, small and mid-cap medical device companies.
Chris has served as VP of Strategy and Performance for Saint Joseph's Translational Research Institute (SJTRI), a private, non-profit preclinical research institute that combines the efficiencies of a commercial contract research organization (CRO) with the resources of an academic institution. As Vice President, Chris created SJTRI's strategic plan and oversaw its implementation. Prior to SJTRI, Chris led the Management Consulting practice at Frazier & Deeter, a top 100 Accounting and Consulting firm located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Co-founded and serves as a C-Level leader for a number of medical device companies
Founded and led leading edge healthcare IT and workers compensation management company, CompWorx LLC
Served as a C-level executive for several emerging growth companies through the early-stage venture consulting firm,
Led the Strategy Deployment Practice for Consumer Goods & Retail at Verity Partners LLC in Atlanta
Held positions as Senior Partner in Deloitte Consulting, where he led numerous Strategy, Operations, and Systems practices in
manufacturing and consumer goods & retail
Prior to joining Deloitte (then Touch Ross) Chris held positions as Senior Technical Sales Representative for Ingres/Relational Technology, as well as Director of Systems Development and Product Development Engineer for Armco Building Systems.
Among his many affiliations Chris is a member of the Southeast Medical Device Association, the Technology Association of GA (TAG), and the Bioscience Leadership Council of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.

His functional expertise is in the areas of product development, supply/demand chain, customer relationship management, sales and operations planning, IT enablement, and performance management.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering), Georgia Tech, and an MBA in Operations Management from Georgia State University.
